Biography
22 year music veteran, Guillermo Bonafé, grew up surrounded by great musicians. His father and primary mentor, a highly respected professional pianist, exposed Guillermo to a variety of musical styles from Latin Jazz and Classical to Bebop and Funk. Guillermo aka "Memo" began his musical career as a drummer but eventually moved over to bass after hearing "Live Art" by Bella Fleck & The Flecktones.

Throughout the years, Guillermo has been involved with a multitude of projects internationally. He has toured throughout the US and Mexico with a variety of groups, has added his creative bass lines to several albums, and currently entertains as a solo bass artist. Guillermo draws on musical influences from The Flecktones, Uzeb, Brian Bromberg, Ed Friedland, and Marcus Miller and adds his personal touch to create a dynamic, crisp, and groovy take on songs everyone loves.
